-Ability to assist Members with day to day functions such as opening accounts, account research, address changes, check orders, etc.
-Familiarity with Sooper Credit Union's lending policies and guidelines
-Familiarity with Sooper CU's savings accounts, checking accounts, business accounts, IRAs and Time Deposits
-Ability to ask probing questions to determine member's needs and cross-sell the appropriate products
-Drive to provide exceptional member service
-Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as necessary
-Some travel may be required
-Other Skills: excellent organizational skills, writing and editing skills. Proficient in computer programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint Able to operate a 10-key calculator, computer keyboard, typewriter and telephone. Should be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Duties:Responsible for overseeing internal sales tracking software, presenting monthly internal sales meetings, initiate and attend on-site visits to promote credit union products and services. Provide support to business partners by attending employee orientations, special events and serving as a credit union key contact. Maintain store and business partner merchandising materials.
Qualifications:Available to work some evenings and weekends as necessary.
Six months to two years of similar experience in Sales and/or Marketing.
A high school education or GED.
Excellent Presentation and organizational skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in computer programs such as MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint Able to operate a 10-key calculator, computer keyboard, typewriter and telephone.
Should have dependable transportation.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals)becomes necessary.
