Description:Denver Community Credit Union is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for our east location near 1-70 and Chambers Rd.

Community involvement is required. Management experience in the credit union environment is highly preferred.

Incumbent will guide branch office in building relationships and providing quality service to members in the areas of account transactions, loan applications and approval, new accounts, and solving problems within established policies and guidelines. Ensure employees are trained in the sales skills and behaviors needed to increase credit union wide product sales. Responsible for developing future business for the credit union.





Duties:Essential Responsibilities:

Hands On manager to maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations.

Prepare, implement and supervise the budget for the branch that is consistent with the overall strategic plan and budget of the credit union.

Develop, apply, and evaluate policies and procedures for the branch.
Recruit and select quality applicants for vacancies, ensuring that the credit union is adequately staffed with competent employees.

Schedule and give performance reviews and recommend salary adjustments.
Ensure adequate staffing for efficient branch operation.

Manage and recommend the purchase of equipment and supplies.

Work with internal auditor to ensure compliance with internal controls.

Ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.

Monitor office activity, including number of transactions, volume, teller errors, loan volume, teller and loan sales, and new accounts.

Monitor key products/sales within branch to ensure profitable and sound business practices for the credit union, a high quality of service for members, and that employees are maximizing opportunities to sell products.

Manage the security and safety of the branch, with responsibility to analyze security and safety policies and procedures, and to alert staff of any changes.
Continually investigate and introduce process improvement for suggestion to the VP of Business Development. Oversee branch IRA processing.

Conducts employee training sessions covering specified areas such as service and sales techniques. Conducts one-on-one coaching sessions with individual staff employees to improve their sales and operations skills.

Lead by Example Motivates staff to emphasize sales culture within the credit union. Performs such other functions that might be needed from time to time.
Develop business through business development and community events.
Qualifications:Skills/ Requirements
Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience in related field. 3-5 years of financial industry experience and demonstrated experience in management skills including coaching, performance management, staffing, planning, and problem solving team building, and creating a sales and service culture. Experience working in the Credit Union environment is preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays. Must be bondable.
