| Duties: | Position Requirements:
Experience in a member/customer service position, preferably in a financial institution, which included duties such as operating and balancing a cash drawer and/or providing face-to-face assistance to customers.
Ability to work accurately with numbers and perform basic mathematical calculations; Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and transfers; Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and account balances.
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with individuals in difficult situations.
General experience in a clerical or administrative position.
Effective verbal and written communications skills.
Demonstrable ability to exercise judgment and initiative, to work independently/productively, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple tasks.
Familiarity in the use of a personal computer and associated software and the ability to navigate multiple screens on PC.

| Qualifications: | High school diploma or (GED).
Six months Teller and/or cash handling experience
Experience as a Member Service Representative in Branch Operations or in a similar customer service position with included duties such as counseling members about financial accounts, products and services.
Knowledge of savings and consumer lending programs.
Understanding of automated services such as ATMs, audio response system, and on-line services.
General knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to the submission, evaluation and processing of consumer loan requests; membership criteria and credit union/banking regulations.
