| Description: | Hours of Operation - Monday - Friday, 7:15 A.M - 6:15 P.M., Centennial Branch (Arapahoe Road and Colorado Blvd.)
Role: To direct and schedule resources needed to meet the paying and receiving needs of the Credit Union. To fill orders for currency and coins; to count and record cash deposits in the Credit Union's vault. To assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.

| Duties: | Major Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring that members' needs are promptly and professionally met, while accurately handling a variety of financial transactions, cross-selling CU products and services, responding to member inquiries in person and over the telephone and opening new memberships.
25% - Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.
25% - Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; sells negotiable items to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
10% - Schedules, trains and monitors the work of other tellers, assists with performance reviews and coordinates teller activities.
10% - Identifies transactions/situations to which BSA documentation should be completed and submitted to Operations Manager for review. Completes or servies as back up on internal BSA Reports/audits.
5% - Posts transactions to member accounts and maintains member records with a high degree of accuracy, balances cash vault and negotiable items with a high degree of accuracy for the CU, acts as back up for the Member Service Representatives, balances cash drawer and daily transactions and performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answer the telephone as well as other duties as assigned. |
| Qualifications: | Six months to two years of similiar or related experience, a high school education or GED, high emphasis on leadership, previous teller experience, supervisory skills, time management, problem resolution and managing existing CU policies and procedures.
Familiar and complies with and all banking regulations including but not limited to BSA, USA Patriot/CIP requirements, Reg CC and other regulations.
Must have good communication skills for training other tellers, 10-key calculator and computer keyboard skills and accurate with numbers and names.
Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. |
