Branch Manager Role: To direct the operations of the Credit Union branch office, ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth plans. To create a positive and stimulating environment for employees growth and member enrichment. Provide sales coaching, educational support to the branch employees to enhance skills and abilities. Is also responsible for seeking opportunities to deepen SEG relationships resulting in member acquisition and increased usage of products and services. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
30% Oversees the daily operations of the branch
15% Directs, develops, motivates, hires branch personnel; administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions. 15% Monitors branch operating and sales results relative to established objectives. Ensures branch personnel stay focused and are held accountable for achieving specific goals and sales objectives through performance. Assists in the establishment of branch goals and initiates actions to achieve the goals. 10% Directs the lending function of the branch and works with loan officers to meet branch goals and provide quality service to the members. 10% Maintains communications with branch offices, and other business units of the organization; prepares and submits standard reports. 10% Represents the branch suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups. Works with Business Development Officer to develop relationships with appropriate SEG groups.
5% Monitors all branch activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures.
5% As a member of the Management Team, assists in the formulation/execution of credit union policies, objectives and programs. Attends scheduled management meetings.
Adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations governing applicable to the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
